HHO Car technology is becoming a viral internet phenomenon as consumers scramble to save gas any way they can. Gasp prices are through the roof lately. This is one of the best ways to save money on gas.
So what exactly is an HHO car? Well, it's nothing you are going to find sold at a dealership anywhere. Energy companies would lose a ridiculous amount of money if this technology was installed in cars straight from the dealer. The fact is, it's not even difficult to do. People just don't know about it.
An HHO Car is conceived by performing a simple conversion to your existing vehicle. It involves a few parts from a local hardware store that won't cost anything over $100 (compare that to the price of a hybrid that will only get you 20% better mileage). Once the conversion is complete, your car will yield anywhere from 50-100% better fuel economy depending the vehicle.
How does it work? A small water reservoir is stored in your engine bay. You then run a small electrical current from your battery into this water. This will separate the water molecules into HHO gas, which is a very stable and clean burning gas (better for emissions). This gas is then fed into your vehicles manifold where it mixes with your existing air fuel mixture creating an extremely efficiently burning mixture.
Sounds pretty simple right? It really is. Anyone can do this in their garage in a matter of hours. It's completely safe, completely legal, will not void your warranty, and even cuts down on emissions. If you are not mechanically inclined, any halfway experienced mechanic will be able to do this in around an hour.
The funny thing is, ordinary every day people can build an HHO car in their garage, but world-class engineers can't build them to sell to us? Oh they could and they have, but the energy companies won't allow them on the market. It would be too hurtful to their pocketbooks. Instead Congress passed a bill that costs who knows how much that promises 35mpg in every car by 2020. I for one really don't want to wait 12 years to get 3 more mpg than my car already gets.
You know what? You can have 50mpg or more in your car TODAY. We all can. I just find it amusing that political officials try to make it look like they're doing something about rising fuel costs when they are really the ones behind keeping them high.
